  • High Rise Safety

    I am looking for information about highrise fire safety. My goal is to create a lesson plan designed for 4rth grade students (9-11years old).

    I have no desire to re-invent the wheel and am wondering if anyone happens to have a program already designed for elementary school aged children that they would be willing and/or interested in sharing.

    High Rise Safety

    Hello!

    We have various high rise safety tips and assist with evacuation planning and practice. It can be geared toward that age group. What I generally do re high rise safety with this age group is apply all the concepts we utilize otherwise: Plan and Practice Two ways out, test your smoke alarms, etc. Of course, we adapt it to the high rise environment.

    But, basically, it is the same.
