Greetings!
I am responsible for our departments preplanning process. We are a growing community with a wide mix of industrial, commercial, multi-family and numerous other hazards.
I am looking for other departments that have preplan policies in the form of SOG/SOP or guides that dictate what crews are to gather in the way of preplan information.
We currently use FireHouse Software for our incidents, inspections, etc. and I have created a method to export this information into a usable "Information Sheet" that we use on our MDT's.
I want to expand that process into a more tactical format that our personnel can create more usable information to include drawings, photos and tactical considerations.
What is your department using/doing for this process?
How are you training your personnel to gather this information into a usable format?
Any tips or suggestions?
Thanks in advance for this help in guiding me!
