flame retardant sprays

I have a fire retardant spray that COLD FIRE produces that I use in motorsports rescue. I use it to spray any patches that I have sewn onto my fire suit to increase the overall flame protection afforded by the suit.

Fortunately, I have never had to rely on it... but if I ever get into a flash fire, I figured it was worth the extra insurance it may afford me.

has anybody seen any of these fire retardant sprays that are available? I recently saw a demonstration and it was extremely effective at slowing and almost stopping the spread of flame on a treated couch.

What is everyone's opinion on this stuff?
