Synthetic Products in your fleet

Would like your opinion on using synthetic oil in your apparatus or vehicles. I am an independent dealer for Amsoil for which my department has been using for the past year. They use it in all their gasoline vehicles.

If you haven't heard of Amsoil. They have been around since 1972 and were the first to produce synthetic oil.

Do you feel the benefits of using synthetic products would keep your maintenance costs lowered?

I am not posting this as a dealer but from a fleet maintenance standpoint in reducing costs and downtime.

Our department will continue to use Amsoil in the years to come.

My dept uses Amsoil, but I'm not enough of a mech to see the difference in performance. I love the 2 cycle mix though, especially in the 1/100 1 gal packets. Use it on all my small engines at home too. So much easier than measuring out 32/1 from a bottle, only one ratio to remember, and seems to burn cleaner than the regular stuff.
