Pump Service Test

I'm up-grading our Pump Service Test procedures per NFPA 1911. Nearly all of our apparatus are 1500 gpm single stage pumps. Right now we are using three, 2 1/2" lines to supply the test stand nozzle.

Do any of your departments use 3" lines for your test? The specifics of your test hoselay would be greatly appreciated.

we have 1250 pumps, three 3" lines are used one 50' two 100' the smooth bore is at 70 at the tip and I can't remember the size. I thought it was 2.25"
