There website shows that they build there own and also are dealers for Boise (BME) and HME Fire Apparatus

They have lots of photos of deliveries on that 1st Due site. What the heck, read the doors, call the departments, ask how they like 'em.

We have looked at both websites, and called many of the references for Southern Fire Service. Can't get anyone to say anything negative.

I got a department next to me that could really use a donation of it - as their rig caught FIRE the other day while returning from a call!

If it were not for AFG no one around here would have newer trucks

My father in-law is on a board in Wright County (Hartville Rural I think) they didn't even have a building till two years ago.

I just put out for a quote from them ((Southern)) for a 3,000 gal tender, and they came in as the lowest out of the others i got last April (and i increased the engine hp from 300-360!). Seems to be a good deal.

I purchased a 3000 gallon pumper tanker from southern back in october and have been pleased with it ever since. Great truck, great fabrication facility.
