  • Lime Green in Denver?

I was at Pierce this week and noticed a heavy rescue being built for Denver, Colorado. The entire truck was lime green. I thought all the fire apparatus in Denver was white with a red stripe or or gold stripe.

Has Denver changed or is this the first of a new color scheme?

Skyline FD's rigs are lime green and we're in Denver (Arapahoe County, though). It's not ours. We already have our new engine!

          Denver Airport?

I was also thinking the rescue may be for the airport but didn't know what they had. It appeared to be a very nice rescue. It looked well thought out and well equiped. I wish I would of taken a photo or two.
