The custom chassis prices are off a state bid list from a major apparatus builder !..

Great general information to have, but remember that a lot of times, a state contract price will be lower than the "one-time" customer can get.

Regardless, it's a good base for people to start to from.

This state contract price is available to any fire departments in the state of PA, and are about the same if you go out to bid from Spartan -or- HME. Maybe a few dollars more for purchasing only a single unit!....

Can't imagine using a commercial 4400 chassis on the International. The 7400 pricing is $77,984.00 current bid.

            KW $73,884.00 T300.

You could call your dealer and ask for the CA measurement. CA is the cab to axle. It has been a few years since we ordered but I think you can order the CA to the nearest inch from most Commercial truck suppliers. (medium/heavy duty) It depends on the body you are putting on.

If you have a design (.pdf) from the body builder it will have the required CA.
