Cranes (10 tn and above) on rescues?

Hi all,

I read a lot, but rarely post.

Any one know of any NFPA compliant manufacturers(or at least ones who put forth a decent attempt at NFPA) who put cranes on a rescue?

I know of one or two Precisions that have had articulated cranes on pumpers so I am pretty sure they could do a rescue.

Examples

try as i might i cant find the crane manufactures, but these are good examples. These would make good tech rescue trucks, escpecailly for below grade and trench rescue

The caption under Billy G's truck says the crane is Terex. The Oakland one said Telelect. Both of them make specialized truck equipment for utility companies. They advertise in "Light and Medium Truck" magazine which is published by American Trucking Associations (ATA) 2200 Mill Rd. Alexandria, Va. Sorry, you'll have to look the ZIP code up yourself. Most of us qualify for a free subscription. They have an on line subscription form at www.lmtruck.com.

Outside of custom and heavy commercial apparatus, most of what we drive falls into that category.

Of the many rags that I get for free, LMT and "Heavy Duty Trucking" are the two most useful.

Terex and Telect are the same company. They have a plant in Watertown South Dakota.
