New F.D.N.Y. Tower Ladders

Greetings to All,

Does anyone out there know the status of the new F.D.N.Y. Tower Ladders ?

I imagine the 1994, 1995 and 1996 models are overdue for replacement and was wondering what New York City is doing with regards to replacing them.

Any information would be appreciated.

The F.D.N.Y. started getting new Seagrave apparatus a few months back , The seagrave dealership is about 8 miles from our fire house that supplys NY!...Tower ladder 45 was being lettered & stripped when I was there.The new trucks have Series 60 430 hp engines, Gavaneal body ,Whelen Led lights,O.A.L. is 496.45 " long with a 75ft Aerialscope.I found a photo of the new apparatus on : WWW.Emergencyrigs.net click on Seagrave , then click on type of vehicle: CommanderII , hit search the photo ID:0002498
