Mechanical Sirens

Does anyone use a Timberwolf Mecanical Siren? If so what is the comparison between the timberwolf and a Q2B?

I've seen some trucks with the Timberwolf and it's a good siren and less expensive but it "ain't" no Federal Q2B... It's smaller and can be mounted either on the bumper or in the front face. I'd also look at the new electronic versions; Federal EQ2B and Whelen Executor as they offer the electronic digital sound of a Q2B as well as wail, yelp, Hi-Low & PA and have far less amp dran and less expensive.

We put an "electronic" Q2B on our tower ladder - NEVER again. Sound no where near close to a real Q2B.

The company that makes that timberwolf thing is so full of crap, I wouldn't buy it just based on the fact that they flat out 100% lie in their advertising. I couldn't even bring myself to laugh at their idiocy, thats how dumb it is. If you need to lie and make up new laws of physics to sell a product, I don't want it.
