Fast growing Maritime emergency response company seeks emergency services instructors/ responders. A minimum of two positions is immediately available in the Fort Lauderdale Florida area. Position requires a minimum of 4 years of experience in fire fighting, hazardous materials response, and damage control with an emphasis/experience in the marine industry. The successful candidate will have been a former U.S. Navy Damage Controlman pay grades E-4 through E-6 with time served aboard Aircraft Carriers. Preference given to those with additional certifications in Rescue, Hazmat, EMS, and Fire fighting.
Job duties will include teaching marine fire fighting, damage control, and
hazmat response in a school that is approved by Det Norske Veritas for
Quality Management, United States Coast Guard, United Kingdom Maritime and
Coast Guard Agency, and the Norwegian Maritime Directorate. The successful
candidate will also teach courses to our clients aboard various vessels such
as cruise ships and chemical tankers. Other duties will include serving as
a responder to major marine casualties including fires and chemical
releases. The successful candidate will actively respond to extinguish the
fire and or stop the release of product. Travel outside the United States
