Test Dates

Does anyone know of any test dates for departments in the north east US. I'm looking for test dates for Philadelphia, New York, possibly Reading or some others cities in the Philadelphia area. Also, does anyone have information for Chicago??

The best thing for you to do is to get a hold of the city you are interested and get on their call back list, they will send you a card in the mail stating when they are accepting apps. City Hall is the best place to start, most major cities FDs have a web page with contact numbers...good luck

Look in the phone book for the area code for the city in which you wish to take a test. Dail 1-area code-555-1212 for information in that area. Ask for the city Dept. of Personnel. They will state the existence of a present list or the future hiring scheduled. New York has a list in the formation stages now (I'm waiting for my number), most other cities require residency.
