PIO's willing to share job description?
Any PIO's (former or current) out there that could help me get a sense of your duties/position requirements, I ask for your assistance.
I am a volunteer firefighter and college student nearing graduation (BS in English and Political Science). I love the fire service, and have extensive journalism experience (syndicate and corporate). I believe that a post as a PIO/Community Relations Officer with a paid department would be a perfect marriage of my interests and talents. Can you help me decide if this is so?
