Employment Oportunities for Individuals with Fire Science Degrees?

I am currently working on a dual degree in Fire Science and Fire Safety and Engineering Technology through the Univ. of Cincinnati. Is there anybody out there who has already completed a similar Education program, that can enlighten me as to possible employment opportunities I should be looking into? Thank you.

What do you want to do? What are your career goals?

Well, to be honest with you, I am not completely sure.

I have always loved the fire service and just can't see myself not being part of a department. Paid or Volly? To be honest, it really doesn't make that much of a difference to me.

I have looked into possible career moves of, lets say a lateral position in a paid department; or something along the lines of insurance investigation / fire claims adjustment. Then there is the Fire Protection side of things. I know that currently there is a large market of corpoations that are hiring these Safety Engineers for various positions.

Right now I see myself as a 20 year old college student who has a very broad look at his career goals. I am trying to soak up as many opinions and suggestions from people who have "been there" as I can. Maybe in the future, with that assistance, I can better form the "Big Picture".
