I'm possably looking to get a job in a :big city department" with in the next year and half. Any info that anyone has available would be huge help. Thanks.

e-mail w/ your e-mail address and I'll send you links for almost every major city on the eastern seaboard and their hiring info. Can tell right now, Massachusettes gives a test every 2 years for all depts in the state (including Boston) and should give it again spring/summer 2002. They gave a test in april 2K, and still has not certified the list. And FDNY gives a test about every 8 years and was just given feb. 1999. I'm going through the process for both tests and waiting for several others that will be coming up within the year.
