The City of Casper (population 50,000), located in central Wyoming, is seeking a progressive individual to manage the fire
department operation.
The Department has 73 authorized sworn positions with an annual budget of $4,000,000. Requirements: Eight years of increasingly responsible experience in an organized fire department, including three years of administrative responsibility. Completion of the National Fire Academy Fire Officer Program is desirable. Equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in fire science, public administration,
or a closely related field is highly desirable. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
