  • First resonder lights (personal Vehicle) YorN?

Hey all, Any comments i could use at the hall regarding magnetic rotating or strobe lights on personal vehicles? A discussion has come up about using them (mainly for rural responders who have their own vehicles on scene). We are allowed to use them in our county if they are not blue. Any comments??? Thanks.....

Coming back to see where this thread goes will be much akin to having to slow down at an accident to see the carnage.

Even the burger-flippers at McDonald's probably have some McWackers.

All vehicles should have lights: head lights, brake lights, blinkers, etc.

To seriously answer your question: what city, what state, what country are you in? What has your local LOEs said about it? Do you really need them? What about the state law?

Heck I get more results with the vehicle horn than the siren. There are days when I wish I had an air horn, then the anti whacker gene kicks in and whaps me across the head.

I would like to hook up my pager to my siren via the radio leads so I could here it better when I'm rolling down the road and all I can hear is that bleeping siren.
