Antelope valley?
From what I understand, all the fire departments in the antelope valley are career paid. I'm not aware of any volunteer FD's. You may want to try further out like California City or somewhere else kinda remote with small towns.

Check Kern County (Vollie or Paid Call), San Bernardino County (Paid Call in Wrightwood, Phelan, El Mirage or Pinon Hills) and LA County (Paid Call out of Lake LA). There are a few options out there, just curious are you looking to Volunteer for your FF1 or why?"Be LOUD, Be PROUD..... It just might save your can someday when goin' through an intersection!!!!!"

Very cool..... I know that LACo has a Call Company out of Lake LA. Dunno if they have a residency requirement where you have to live close to the Station or what, but go down and talk to the Guys there. You can also ask the Guys at the Palmdale and Lancaster Stations, 33s is the Head Quarters Station.
Once you get on and start your training, welcome to the Family.Last edited by mikeyboy411; 12-28-2010, 12:25 AM."Be LOUD, Be PROUD..... It just might save your can someday when goin' through an intersection!!!!!"

Not a Volunteer Station... When I ran with them Mutual Aid they told me they do have some Stations/Divisions that have POC Personnel, usually in their smaller more rural Areas. An example is like I posted here, Lake LA has POC FFs. I have met some of their POC FFs when I was running Mutual Aid into LA Co."Be LOUD, Be PROUD..... I don't know much about their "Call Firefighter" positions, but check these two links out.
