  • Practice for the written exam..

    Hi everyone,
I'm taking a written exam in the end of July. This is my first ever written exam. Are there any good places or sites to go study ahead of time? I've found several books online, but by the time I order them, I would only have a few days to study. Thanks in advance.

Presumably the exam lists the books that are recommended readings. Get them overnighted if you can't find them locally and study like mad. If it's really too late for you to prepare, at least you'll have the books to reread later at your leisure and the experience of taking a written exam for practice.

Thanks for the quick reply. Unfortunatly the paperwork I got doesn't give any recommended books. They did include a 12 page study guide. I've been going over that, but I was looking to find anything else out there that I could use.

Good idea about ordering some books online for the next oppertunity. Thanks again.

I assume this is the DeKalb job? Call HR and very politely ask if they can provide any additional information about the written exam and study materials.

        Good luck!

You are correct. Actually, that's a really good idea. I'm sure they can provide some good information about what to study. Thanks again.
