IMO hands down the most durable and by far the most comfortable boots I've owned are Redback 'Easy Escape' boots.

They slip on and off so easy, but never feel loose on your foot. Check your local uniform shops to see if they carry them. I highly recommend them.

I highly recommend the RedWings. I have worked on drilling rigs in the oil fields for over 15 years, and I have seen new guys wearing many different brands of boots, and nothing holds up and lasts nearly as long as the RedWing boot. Oilfield work environment is very harsh, constant exposure to dirt, water, salts, chemicals, heat, you name it, and I have never had any problems with them.
Whichever brand you choose, make sure it fits good and allows you freedom of movement- dont just buy it cause its cheap. Wash your boots regularly according to manufacturer's recommendations, and keep them oiled. If you take care of your boots, they will take care of you.
