Just a couple of questions about the interview with the Chief. Is there anything I should bring with me that the interview committee is expecting me to bring?( that is aside from being prepared for various questions and looking professional). The letter I received did not state anything but I just read something (online) about bringing enough resumes for everyone there. Thanks!

Don't bring anything including a resume unless they asked you to._____________________________________________

Ok, seriously, I would bring a resume and other documentation just in case. The Chief's interview is more like a "just get to know you" type of process.
I would definatley start rehearsing your lines now...Why should we hire you? What have you done to prepare? etc...
Did you letter in any sports in HS? Throw that out there if you get the chance. Be prepared to tell any one of these "signature stories" if needed.

I don’t think I have ever interviewed a candidate in a Chief’s Interview who DID NOT bring a resume. While it’s not required, it is EXPECTED. Put together a NICE folder with the following:
• Resume (make sure it’s perfect)
• Transcripts
• Letters of recommendation
• Copies of applicable certificates
Ask the secretary how many panel members will be conducting the interview. Bring a copy for each of us.
