So there are all of these websites willing to charge me money to tell me which departments are testing. My question is, which is the best? Does anybody have some experiences or good advice about which I should spend my money on? Or some experience as too which not to spend my money...

When I looked here for jobs from my State firehouse.com only had 4 listings. When I looked at other sites the number was above 20. I did notice that some of the listings were marked as "continuous" on the other sites. Maybe the high number is because it lists many Dept. represented by the group fire testing agencies. Does anybody know some specifics? I am just a struggling aspiring type who can only afford one of these services. I want to make sure it is THE one. Thanks in advance.

I can personally vouch for Firecareers.com. It was the first company of its kind to offer this service. The company has been in business for over 20-years. I know the owner personally. He an extremely ethical guy.
I cannot speak about any of the others. I an sure others will share their opinions.Paul Lepore

I used www.firecareers.com to look for department's who were testing. My current department that I am employed by was listed on firecareers. I remember back in the day when all the job listings were mailed out on 4 x 6 cards. They've come along way since then and they are a top notch company who catter to anyone looking for a career in the fire service from Firefighter to Chief. The service is $7.50 a month, not to expensive to be able to view job's listed in all 50 states if you ask me.

http://www.firejobs.com for sure, all you have to be is a guest to see the job listings. you have to be a member to view the listings but once you see the cities in guest mode, you can just go to the city website. Apply.
