        Arlington, Montgomery County, and DC do not polygraph.

          MaxD do you work in the dc area? if so where at? and if i were to apply to a county in the dc area what kind of time period am i looking at for the whole application process?

              I work for DCFD. Your best bet is to check the county websites frequently as they all have job postings online. You can also apply online. Count on a minimum of 6 months from application to hire. Could be more or less, especially depending on if you are a medic or not. I do agree with Kobersteen that you should not worry about polygraphs. Its worth a shot.
