Chief's SOPs
My rural department is currently revamping the Chief's job discription. I'm looking for copies of similar departments job discriptions to present to the fire board. Why reinvent the wheel if we can just modify it for our needs. My department covers 35 sq. miles of dryland wheat fields, population is about 150 in town and 500 total. Our annual budget is approx. $65,000. We currently have two stations and 9 pieces of old appartus. If this sounds similar to your department, I would greatly appreciate any imput you can send my way regarding your Chief's position. Thanks!!!
