Does anyone have any information on traveling Paramedic jobs? I know of people in the past who worked in different countries, also some just traveled state to state here in the U.S. If anyone could get me some contact info, that would be wonderful.

Alot of time, the travelling medic/firefighter are not traveling between countries, they are just picking up different contracts.. they will do 6 months in UAE, then another contract for 4 months in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, then go on to a South pacific island on another contract..Originally posted by Kyfiremedic

Your best bet is to check with companies that deal in that, Brown & Root might be a good source, Johnson controls, EG&G, Raytheon, Raytheon Polar Services.
The federal govt sometimes uses PMs overseas (usually in conjunction with Firefighters...
www.usajobs.opm.gov Series 0081 for Firefighter, and paramedics are in the 0600's somewhere I think..
if you are looking for money, check with the alaskan cannery ships, Offshore Oil wells, they sometimes use medics, specially if you have dive training..
