That’s good to know. I figured everyone in Band 1 would be guaranteed an interview and then they would pick who they want from there. Definitely an interesting process. Thank you

So are we placed in another band after interviews? Or it stays the same? They coulda have provided a much better outline like OCFA did lol

If it helps, I was V Band during the FFPM Lateral test from January 2019. I did the interview in June 2019 and was invited to backgrounds November 2019. It took about 5 months to hear something after interview.

I also applied to FF Trainee position. My score from FFPM test transferred over from previous written because it was less than 1 year. It was the same interview as PM test. It’s weird being in two types of processes for the same department.

Tower 154 graduated Dec 20th, 2019
Tower 155 is currently in process.
Jan 11th is family day for Tower 156 in Pomona
Tower 156 expected start date March 4th, 2020.

Unknown if they’re pulling another tower from FFPM list. Unknown if mixing FFPM’s and FF Trainees in next tower. Therefore, the FF Trainees won’t hear anything for a little while until they exhaust the FFPM list or figure out what Tower 157 will look like.
