You don’t need a campaign medal for vet preference. Only 180 days active duty that wasn’t for training(Tech school) and it had to have occurred after 9/11.

I was in from august 2012 to August 2019 and I didnt get the 10 points. I called and verified this with the HR reps. The link mentions that if you served anytime between 9/11/2001 and 8/31/2010 then you get it. After 2010, you need a campaign medal. There are some other dates too like the gulf war and some older ones.

How did you not get it? The global war on terrorism is considered a campaign I believe. Can you link the pdf? I have only found a little blurb on the hiring flyer and recruit flyer

So it’s 3rd hand from a recruiting event, but before everyone got their notices, Lacfod requested 1500 post marked letters from logistics and they never send out anything that big. Then two days later everyone had their scores

Is this for the paramedic process? Seems too soon for the emt process. And are they giving offers through mail or phone calls?

Those with medic license first. Not sure how many though.
If you had less than a year experience, couldn’t apply to first round.
