When you guy say 200 are left from the 7th referral, are you referencing the people that have already been called and had their background checks done?

or people that haven’t even been called for initial processing?

Has anyone that got contacted by their BI in July finished their Background yet? My BI called me July 2nd saying that my background was being started. Haven't heard anything about anything since July 2nd. Is it suppose to take this long?

They don’t tell you theyre done with it. If they contact you about it that means they need more info or something negative popped up. Just ask your references if they’ve been contacted yet.

Ok. What about home visits? I've heard people talk about getting a home visit. My BI never said anything about a home visit when he contacted me july 2nd

Yea they will contact you for that but not once your background is completed.

No that just means you verified your address. Ask your references if they were contacted yet. I doubt they have been yet

The above numbers are 200 with no preference from the bottom of the seventh referral. I assume most of these numbers have not been notified yet, although some with lower numbers probably were notified. I don’t know how they portioned out the referral notifications with preferences. Good luck all.

Yea, I know. Where ever you got those numbers, did you happen to see if there was a list that included the preference numbers or a stand alone list?

Those numbers are from the referral list that is made up by department of Human Resources and sent to the fire department to hire from. It is the official list that I obtained from a Foia request. Don’t understand your your question.
