On May 7, 2011 the City of Toledo will begin accepting applications for the next fire fighter examination, scheduled for June 12, 2011. Interested individuals may apply in person on online.

Applications will be available and accepted at the Fire Administration building at 545 N. Huron St. in downtown Toledo during the following dates and times:

May 7 from 8:30 a.m.- 4 p.m.
May 9-20 from 8:30 a.m.- 4 p.m.
May 12 from 8:30 a.m.- 7 p.m.
May 14 from 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
May 17 from 8:30 a.m.- 7 p.m.

The minimum requirements to apply for a City of Toledo fire fighter position are:

You must be at least 18 years of age no later than December 12, 2011;
You must not be more than 34 years of age on the date of the examination; and
You must possess a High School diploma or GED certificate by June 30, 2011.

Anyone from Toledo that can give us a picture of how the department works, runs, etc....I dont know much about Toledo Fire and dont know anyone personally that does. Thanks in advance.
