Looking for a good Volley Department to join in MI

Hey guys. Gonna finish my Fire 1 next weekend and start fire 2 soon. I want to find a good Volunteer Department in the Detroit area to join and get experience. I also have an EMT Basic liscense and will have HAZMAT Ops as soon as they mail it to me.

Run, fast, out of Michigan. Sorry to be blunt. I am a laid off firefighter/ medic here, and doing everything I can to get out. With the current governor cutting everywhere, and blackmailing cities into combining services, Michigan firefighters are in for a huge fight. If your ambitions are only to be a volunteer for a long time, it just depends where you live. Troy, Macomb Twp, and other places are the biggest volunteers, but you have to live there. The most important thing is getting your medic license and running through Toledo to get out.
