Broward county, FL MESH test

Hey Guys, my names Jake. I'm new to this site. A little about me: I'm 21, I just graduated from Florida State Fire College back in Dec. 2010 and just passed my Paramedics exam three weeks ago.

I was woundering if any one knew any thing or had exoierence with the Broward county, FL MESH programe? Any help would be greatly appriciated.

Hey Guys I'm sry I'm new to the site and I'm still figuring out how to use it. I didnt know you guys reply to topics so fast and I'm very thankful for the help.

But no, I actually found out about it the day of the test. Being as I live in gainesville, I didnt think I could make it. LOL I'm having trouble finding the dates for the test. I think they only offer it twice a year. Also, i'm pretty sure it goes along with the Broward County Physical Ability test, which I'm schedualed to take April 9. I will let you guys know how that goes. I will check that out once I learn how to navigate this site a little more.

Well when I went to the orientation, they were saying that they weren't going to offer another test this year. And the cut off for this test was March 9th. But the turn out was good so you never know if they open it up again. Good luck on your pat coming up, I'm taking mine this Saturday. And keep looking out in case the MESH opens up again.

I took the MESH once a few years ago...maybe in 2008? I know it works, I got hired off of it.
A few guys I got hired with scored very high and also received offers from other departments, but those smaller ones only sent out letters/calls to only the people who scored at the top.

I dont know whats going on with the test now and I know my department has a list utilizing the MESH from last year, but we are not hiring and im pretty sure they're keeping their old list.

OK thanks guys. I really appriciate it. Just curious you say your department uses MESH? Where do you work? Or is that a question you dont ask here, I dont know....And thanks man I let you guys know how the test goes.

You can ask but many guys wont answer. I can PM it to you if you'd like. Lets just say its one of the bigger Broward departments who use the MESH and the one everyone wants to work for!
