  • Need Help with Interview

    Hi Everyone

Im new to the fire service process so would like to get the correct information to avoid any unnecessary mistakes

Ive have taken a half a dozen written exam and my scores have been getting better with every single test i take; however, i have never sat in front of a interview panel so i was wondering if anyone have any advise as to how i can prepare for the panel interview.

Any information will be greatly appreciated.

The Interview is the most important part the process and is probably the most overlooked when it comes to preparing. I purchased Paul Lepore's book here is a link http://www.aspiringfirefighters.com/author.html it helped me. But to be honest with you practicing with friends family helped me the most. If you can set up a mock interview with a local fire department then that would be best. Good luck!
