Im not quite sure i havent even gone to my physical yet, its next monday. I can only hope fo the best.

I spoke to recruitment today and they said they are getting additional people ready incase some of the current people do not make it past their medicals, etc. They are trying to fill a 2nd class beginning in July.

I hope it doesnt affect the current process start date. Well guess that means I at least have a better shot, considering I made it to the end.

The next class is right on track. Unless something drastic happens things should be right on track for the mid march start. Good luck to everyone....keep up the good work.

POST CONDITIONAL OFFER CONTINGENCIES

Selection process: Candidates must successfully pass a Comprehensive Written Examination, Physical Ability Test, Polygraph Examination, Background Check/Personal History Review, NFPA 1582 Medical Examination/Substance Abuse and Nicotine Screening, and an in person interview to be placed in the eligibility pool. The eligibility pool will stay on file for at least nine months.

I'm in the current process with this county. If I'm not selected to attend the academy does the above mean I will have an opportunity to attend the next academy? If so, how does this work out? Do I need to do any of the testing again (written, PAT, polygraph, medical)? Or am I immediately placed in the eligibility pool and wait for a call?

You best answer is to call the county and ask them. Only they will know.

Lt Collins emailed me and said I was on eligible list, there was no need for me to reapply!!

This is probably going to be a smaller class and to catch up with the people who didn't make it in class 26.
