Thanks for the feedback.
I do hope they came to visit.
Not only do I make some delicious chocolate ganash brownies, it would let them see me in my native environment which would be a direct indication of how I'd be at the station (clean, orderly etc...).

The two that I've had for different agencies both asked if there would be any complications if they were to contact your current employer. They don't want to make trouble for you at your work.
Like mentioned earlier they probably would choose to contact your employer near the end to avoid making waves for you at work. I've never had them stop in at my home though, mostly because the majority of the places I test are a ways away. Too bad though. My wife rocks at baking.
Good luck.Leave a comment:

Backgrounds
As one who has been in the homes of candidates as a Background Investigator Captain Bob is correct and most all were glad to see me. The ones who were not had their reasons and for those reasons failed their backgrounds. I also did run into a few who had cookies and brownies for me.Leave a comment:

You can ask that they only contact your current employer as the last step in the hiring process. Most investigators understand this.
They want to come to your home to make sure you're not weird.
Have the bride bake some cookies to give that homey feeling.Leave a comment:

Quick Question
Just curious about the process.
I'm trying to be discreet with my employer and want to be respectful.
Thanks,
