I have an interview scheduled for later in the month. I have to include a 2 page handwritted biography. I just had a question, when writing this should I write this in the 3rd person??? EX. John Smith completed paramedic training in october 2008.
    Any help is appreciated

I would write it in first person. Not only do I think it would read more smoothly, but I think it would eliminate any concerns that someone else may have written the autobiography for you.

              Interview

Paul you are correct in you last reply. The biography was to be in first person , legible and to be perfect. The response from babcusar5 was uncalled for.

You wrote male rather than make, that was my point.

Sorry but that is a little funny after learning the whole story. I thought the same thing at first about a rude comment and never noticed the typo till pointed out resently. I was going to say Chief Lepore has had some good informative reading and well worth paying attention too.

                        message

I've worked with Paul Lepore and what he has to say to those who are trying to get hired is priceless. I was too quick to jump in as there are many who love to slam those who are trying to give aid. One of my faults in life that I have to bare.

That's really funny. I am pretty good about reading and editing my posts. I reread this one several times and did not notice the typo.......very funny, especially when you consider the topic :-)

Definately write it in the first person. If this is something multiple candidates have to do, I would consider buying some nice resume paper to write it on. Something to make yours stand out just a little extra. Just a thought.

Ok so the interview I think went well. It was over an hour and consisted of over 20 questions. I had no idea that the interview would take that long and have that many questions. Most of the questions had nothing to do with me, my qualifications, or firefighting.
