          I would if...

Well, if I ever had girlfriend, I'd buy her a Star Of Life EMS charm like the one I wear around my neck. The Star Of Life EMS charm means alot to me and that's why I would buy it for her to show her how much she means to me. That is if I ever get a girlfriend. Ladies, I'm 19 and single.

i would probably do the same thing as brubaker. I have this friend, who just got her EMT-B cert. She's very beautiful and has a nice sense of humor, something that i look for. I'm taking her to my NJROTC units December Military Ball, very formal occasion. Star of Life necklace, now she would really love that.

I think that was a little uncalled for being as there was no mention of that in this thread

                  Important

That pendant might be important to you, but will it be to her? Ask one of her girl friends.

What's good for guys is jewelry is at the top of the list for women when it comes to gifts. What makes it better is one size usually fits all. But you must know what the ladies taste is first in jewelry. What ever you give the love of your life, make sure you deliver it with a card with a message written from your heart.

A true gift is one without a hidden agenda. One that you don't have to reciporocate. The gift most important to most women is the gift of time and personal attention, like "He listens to me and he accepts and validates my fellings." Kind of gooey isn't it. But, it works.

Hate to disappoint you "boys" who are so quick to jump on Capt Bob, BUT speaking as a more mature woman, he's hitting it right on the money. The best gift is the gift of yourself, of your heart and of your time. Think about it.

Pfire23 thank you. As you must know firefighters have a higher rate of divorce.

I buy my girlfriend stuff all the time, as for a St. Florian pendant necklace, I havent really looked for one. But I have bought her necklaces in the past that she wears that I don't want to replace.

Heh, things from the heart without a hidden agenda are the greatest gifts of all. I have recieved them and given them, and they are so good. Communication is key, I could not have lasted over a year with my girlfriend and have as great of a relationship that we have without it.

Never expected a post like this to come up, but its a good change of pace.
