- For training in non-idlh atmospheres, yes I think it should be allowed in my opinion.
- No explorer/junior should ever be in an IDLH atmosphere that would require an SCBA, whether it is training or an incident. End of discussion on that point.Even the burger-flippers at McDonald's probably have some McWackers.

I know that explorers can be as young as 14, with juniors usually 16. In our state explorers can NOT take FF1 but juniors can. These classes are taught by SFI's.Stephen J Bourassa
