thanks every one and God bless
Firefighters need not fear fire, but give it all their respect.
No.....wear a suit like everyone else. Your participation in the Explorer program with your department will come out in the interview. I'm sure most will agree.
Good Luck!!

Have I steered you wrong yet? Wear a suit, son. Dont have one? Get Mom to take you for one, or borrow one from one of your buddies. GOOD LUCK.
Plus you need to learn proper grammer son. You lack most of everything.
When you interview be sure to tell them how smart you are and write opinions in these forums.
Some of you may not know that he was quite humbled by our verbal azz-kickings last summer. He and I have communicated through private messages several times, and it appears that he used the advice that we all hammered at him to heart, and has grown up a bit. Don't be too hard on him. And yes, he still needs help with his writing skills.

If YOU have been spoon feeding him, maybe he will be OK and get by the interviews. At least he will be getting one, as some don't make it to the table. I hope that he will present himself in a good manner and none of the kid stuff.

By all means, keep roasting him on the spit about his writing....

Humble is a good thing...
Everytime I realize that I can't do the things I did when I was 25, I am humbled.
Agree completely on the suit, but one thing I always wondered that maybe some of you fellers that have been doing interviews or have enough experience might know, does color really matter? I am not talking bright green or red, but between black and dark blue, will that make a difference? Solid tie or striped? Sounds silly but I hear from people you have to wear dark blue suit with solid colored tie.
