I am currently a junior firefighter and i joined because i have always wanted to be a firefighter honestly following father and uncle, and because i am enlisting into the Marines Corps and this is the MOS that i wish to do. well i want to get my FF1 while i am in the delayed program for the service. my area offers a rokie school some summers now. i turn 18 in january of next year and i was wondering what would be the easyest way of getting my FF1 or to get the certs, does anyone have a good idea of how to do this?

If you're going into the Marines the first thing you have to learn is that you can't buck the system. There is no "easy" way to do anything in life.
The FF1 system is in place for a reason and you have to go through the steps like everyone else and wait until you're 18 so you can do the challenges that use airpacks. Just like you won't be able to show up at boot camp and ask the DI to give you your stripes that day.
You want to know the "easiest" way to pass your FF1?
Study for the test and practice the physical challenges.
And if you want to make it in the service I would suggest that you don't type like you're texting, capitalize the first letter of sentences so people can read what you write and improve your spelling. You will need it to advance in any career endeavor,Steve Dragon

Sorry for the spelling its just a bad habit. And i guess i put it in the rong way. i ment for getting my Firefighter 1, what would be a way i could do it with a busy schedule. I know that you dont get the easy way out in life, I just have a busy schedule and wanted to know if there was a kind of rookie school that was offered, or if it would be better if I where to get the classes one at a time. I'm not looking for the ''easy way out of things'' I simply ment the way that would be most unconflicting way when it came to being busy. I just wouldent have the time for a typical academy.

IF the Marines will take you, sign the papers and get on the bus and arrive at Paris Island or the other training camps at 0200 hours get off the bus and put your feet on the painted shoes marks on the deck.
Keep your mouth shut unless the DI [Drill Instructor] asks you a questions and make a man out of yourself. Do you enlistment and then come back and get a job as a firefighter, in that order.
You probably will be able to make it through there as it has changes drastically from back in the 1950's.Stay Safe and Well Out There....
