I am working on a project. I am a captain on a career department of about 45 members. After a member is promoted, all they have to do is retain their certifications for their position. I am looking to create a Professional Development plan to further develop the knowledge, skills and abilities for captains. This will encompass both newly promoted, current and acting captains. I have to define core competencies requirements. Does anybody have such a SOP with their department?
