I'm being hired by KBR and they told me my IFSAC certs wont do. They said KBR only excepts Proboard or DOD. Anyone know the quickest way to get my IFSAC certs transfered? I already told them that it is posted in the job listing requirements on KBR's website, that all you need is IFSAC but they said that wasn't the case. Thanks all

All you need is a state that grants reciprocity for national certs. LSU fire academy I know for a fact does both Proboard and IFSAC. There is likely a reciprocity application on their site. Alabama fire college might be another one. Also look at buckscounty.edu, they might also be good. If you go to proboard.org, you can look up the various states to see what certs they're good for. A good contact there is Amy Sturtevant.

The DOD e-mailed me back and said they can't transfer them until I'm actually hired and become a federal employee. I called ProBoard and they said IFSAC and Proboard don't transfer. Looks like another let down. It's B.S. because KBR has several Firefighter positions posted, and when you click on them, almost everyone lists different cert requirements and accredited agencies.

What state you in now? Pro-Board told you wrong, unless they changed it because I received several IFSAC cert from one state and had them Pro-boarded in my home state, not sure if still being a member in my home state helped but I got them Pro-Boarded.Thank you to the brave men and women of our great military, past, present and future for allowing my right to express my opinion and my opinion only, not representation of any company I may work for.

I just got off the phone with the guy at LSU, and I called several other states, as well as 5 executive members of the ProBoard, and they all told me absolutly not. They said they cannot print me a ProBoard Certificate based off of my IFSAC cert. The only way to do it, is go to my home state ProBoard proctor and "test out" for all the ProBoard certs I need. The only problem with that, is Missouri is not a ProBoard state.
