I still cant stand this guy. Some wannabe "businessman" trying to find an angle to make money- Charges people $40 to join his "foundation" and the posts pictures of dead public safety personnel to tug on their hearts?
Here is their link- http://www.fallenheroesfoundation.com
As said before, I dont think most of them (us) prefer to be called a "hero" anyways. I have emailed the clown and he just comes back with "We are helping ramblings..." Hey man, if you want to help, I say go VOLUNTEER for Red Cross, MDA Fill the Boot or something where you arent asking people to open up their wallets.
PS- Is he getting permission from the families before posting their pictures on the web?

I just visited the site looks on the surface to be a (well intentioned tribute site)--hearby retracted. Having said that, if he is charging $40 to "join the foundation" what is being done with the fee? Is it going back to the families of the fallen? Is it going to FF/Police Memorial Funds or other related charities? If the answer is no, then it must be lining this guys pockets and he's a Mutt. If he is using the money for good causes like listed above, it doesn't seem like a bad thing. Also, if he doesn't have permission from the families to post those photos he is treading on thin ice no matter his intentions.
Bou, what else do know about this guy....definitely sounds shady especially how he's tap dancing around your emails.

What I know-
You pay the $40 and get a t-shirt. (big wow!) They send flowers to the funerals. The owner even showed up to the Contra Costa County, CA funeral giving out buisnesses cards and such not even knowing the two dead Firefighters. He even has a My Space page.
All done to get rich.

I just happened to notice the earlier thread you started about this guy a while back. From skimming some of the posts in there he sounds like a Mutt who is more worried about lining his pockets than fallen emergency responders. Sending flowers is a token gesture at best and business cards at a funeral is beyond poor taste and disrespectful. I will retract my statement in my previous post about a well intentioned tribute site.
Thanks for the info, the guys a mutt!
