I am new to front zip boots but got a pair because I think they look more professional than the new style duty boots.
My question is, how do I lace them up and how do I tie them at the top?
Do I just put a half knot at each side of the top and cut the excess?

I'm now wearing Taipan side zipper instead of front.
I think it's easier to do the zipper up and down.

In terms of comfort, the first few weeks, you couldn't get me out of them. But I'm finding them a bit uncomfortable now for long durations. I've put some sole inserts in them, but it hasn't improved.
Other brands I've tried are John Bull and Blundston with mixed feelings about all of them...

The link I posted was for the tighter lace up, what you want is on the opposite page, its not as tight a fit lace up. I'll try to post it tonight.
