I saw in the Prov Journal that east Greenwich is taking apps. Im not sure on the particulars just putting out the info. Check soon i dont know when the deadline is.

I saw the same thing....they don't begin taking applications until Feb 4th and they take them up until the 15th of Feb....

i know they are taking 1 directly after the process with the hopes of taking 5 in the next coming year due to retirements.

EG Fire actually has a website that you can go to that seems pretty up-to-date....http://www.egfiredistrict.net/.....if you scroll down it says........
"The deadline for submitting employment applications has passed. Information regarding the next steps of the testing process will be posted as the dates, times and locations are set" So my guess is they are waiting to set a test date.....

They hired two out of the original list. From there it all depends on when someone else retires. It could be a little wait, where are you on the list?

I noticed they needed two on e.g. web site ,but a friend said they were taking 3 and 5 may retire. I was not sure if it was 2 or 3 they hired right away . Thank you for the update gdma
