I've tried e-mailing the PS & E e-mail address at OSFM (which just bounced back) regarding this, but here's my question:
I have some classroom stuff that I successfully passed as part of my fire science degree that I didn't challenge the state tests for immediately after course completion due to not being on my department at the time. It has been years since I took the classes... The following I know to be true:
Practicals are good for one year for hands-on classes, and practicals are good for five years for FFII.
None of this matters for me as the classes I took relate to Fire Officer I and don't have practicals (specifically I need to challenge Management I and II, and Fire Prevention Principles state exams to complete my FOI certification). Anyone know how long I have to take the state exams after the course work was completed?
I'm stupid to hold off any longer and not take these state tests to get my FOI as the bulk of the work has been done. Hopefully I can still just challenge the tests without retaking those three classes. Any insight on this?
Thanks.
