Anyone here from Hamden or could speak inteligently about the Professional Firefighters of Hamden? I'm trying to get some basic information about how many calls they run, how there department is setup, and what kinds of shifts they work?

I believe they run 3 on 3 off schedule. They have 5 houses at least 4 Eng 2 Ladders and 2 medic units approx 22-23 per shift plus a BC they also have 2-3 Vol house. with 3 eng and brush equip. They seem to catch a decent amount of work usually in the south served by Co # 2 which is the Dixwell/Newhallville/New Haven area. They also cover Quinnipiac U which has grown a ton since I lived in town. ALso Cover part of the SCSU area They also do some High Angle Rescue along with New Haven FD@ East Rock,West Rock And Sleeping Giant Parks. They run ALS along with AMR New Haven. Thay are IAFF Affiliated also with the UPFFA of CT. I hope this helps.
