it is on Feb 16th, in Monore?

me and another guy from my department are gonna be there,

I can't wait it should be very eye opening,

It has been some time since I've even been active on the firehouse forums,
but I'm still pumped to get the chance to go to this.

and anybody know of any good Supper club places to go out to eat afterward's. Me and the other guy sold it to our wives as we would drive down together for this during the day and then they could come down later that night and meet up with us we would all go out for supper cause of Valetines day.

I would be happy going to that bar on the square that has the Cheese sandwich and chili special "burmoerger or something like that" but that wont fly far with the wife.

I only live little over an hour away but only time I go to Monroe is for Fire School in August so I have no Idea of the dining areas to go to to appease da wife.

Will be there too. Baumgartner's is the bar on the square. Got to get the Limburger if you go there. Bullet's is up the street next to the Middle School. Good place to eat. Anything else?

We have a good group going from my department, probably a half dozen at least. We're just north of Rockford (North Park).

I've never been disappointed with the program that this group puts together every year (this is the same group that has hosted semiars at Blackhawk Tech, right?), but I'm particularly looking forward to Billy G's program. Of the years I've been to FDIC I always had some sort of conflict that prevented me from seeing him.

The Swiss Haus is good also, we usually hit that when we are at the fire school, but it is "bar food" You could e-mail the boys over at Monroe Fire to see what they think, I'm sure they will point you in the right direction. (Remember: the hardest part of our job is to keep the ladies happy at home)

WOW!!!

That was the 1st. time I've got to see Chief Golfeder. He was really good. His stories and videos keep the attention of everyone throughout the whole day. His storries realy hit home and he made us laugh alot.

Really good presentation, I would recomend anyone who hasn't seen him at least once, go see him.
