I happen to know a superfirefighter who is on something like 3-4 departments................:ro lleyes:

But on the other hand, there are a few guys on our department that are on something like 3 depts.

seems like it would be hard to manage all those departments. Especially the personalities. and all the pagers going off

That doesn't make you a superfirefighter I just got on full-time dept recently and work at a part-time dept pretty casually. When I am at home I volunteer for my local volunteer and when the hours are short at my part-time I have a private amb service to work at. It is three differant counties and three differant protocols for my medic but all similar. I am nowhere near being superfirefighter just one trying to work and gain experience and help out my volley.

Oh I understand that and I didnt mean for anyone to take any offense to that. It was more of an inside joke about a particular person that some of the posters on here know. He isnt a superfirefighter because he is on multiple departments, it is for other reasons, but the fact that he is on multiple departments fuels the fire.....you would have to be here to understand.

Sorry
