im really thinking about moving out to stateline nevada. im willing to drive about an hour to work. i am coming from florida so my certs should be good right? im nationally cert for emt. is there anything i can do here or do i just have to move and work a normal job then wait for places to hire or what. i was thinking about getting a job here then transfering. any help is appreciated. thanks

First- I love the area. The snow, shooting range, food and people.

Second- How fast do you want to work in the area? There is some fire job work there for the State of Nevada. Also, CC and TD usually want Firefighter/Paramedics. I've only seen TD test for medic.

whats TD? and CC is clark county? id like to in the next like 6 months or so. maybe earlier. will i have to move out there and redo anything or are my certs good for nevada? thanks for your help

TD- Tahoe Douglas, Douglas County- Covers the south side of Lake Tahoe, NV.

CC- Carson City, NV

Do a search for the "nevada state fire marshal". I am sure you will get the info. you need there. (I cant do your leg work man, crack a search engine)
